Murdock was a fully blind, abandoned 9 week old puppy when he came to us. He was diagnosed with micropthalmia (which basically means that his eyeballs never grew with the rest of his body). It could have been something his mother ate when he was in gestation, but we will never know for sure. His blindness never slowed him down. He was just as adventurous, curious, and playful as any other foster of ours. He won over the hearts of many people with his silly antics and amazing personality despite his disability.
Murdock was adopted by a fantastic couple and their female dog, who is now Murdock's best friend and sister. They did tons of research about blind dogs and how to properly care for him before they even considered adopting him. They are incredibly devoted, and are wonderful examples of amazing pet parents!
